As Hudson and I went walking through our lovely little neighborhood today, I couldn't help but let the primary child in me free! My mind immediately started singing my rendition of "My Heavenly Father Loves Me"...
"Whenever I hear the song of a bird, or look at the blue, blue sky... whenever I feel the rain on my face, or the wind as it rushes by... whenever I touch a velvet rose, or walk by a lilac tree... I'm glad that I live in this beautiful world Heavenly Father created for me!... He gave me my eyes that I might see the color of butterfly wings... He gave me my ears that I might hear the magical sound of things... He gave me my life, my mind, my heart, I thank Him reverently! For all these creations of which I'm a part-- Yes! I know Heavenly Father loves me!
I couldn't help but post these beee-aut-iiii-fullll pictures of this gorgeous Fall season out here in the Midwest. I know it's a bunch of trees...but I went crazy and couldn't resist taking a million pictures! It was a blast:)
My dear little partner in crime looks like a thug in his beanie:) he's been enjoying nibbling his fingers of late. His Dad isn't thrilled about that one. It makes me recall my parents going to great lengths to get me to stop sucking my fingers... Those spiked braces were both really attractive and not-so-kid-friendly. GOOD RIDDENS! Hopefully yucky tasting goop will be enough to get the job done with this guy if the habit sticks. We just love our chunky Hudson man!!!
